    Had a wonderful experience in store when trying to find a new scent. I have such a collection already and it takes a lot to find one I love. Lwam was amazing, super attentive, so helpful, patient and lovely. I went through about 100 testers with her and managed to find a few I love! All credit to her, you’ve got a good one there. 🤍

    Anna the store Manager place the blame on customer at Space NK Arndale (unprofessional and dismissive)

    I had a very disappointing experience at the Space NK Manchester Arndale store on 12/12/2025 at around 1:47 PM. I went in to use a £5 reward, which was clearly valid until 15/12, but the store manager Anna repeatedly assumed I was wrong before checking anything.

    First, she insisted the reward had expired before even looking at my email. Then she said I had “entered the wrong email,” even though I hadn’t typed anything yet — they had only scanned my barcode.

    When the reward finally went through, she still blamed me and said I “must have two accounts” and should contact customer service to close one.

    Her attitude was condescending and accusatory throughout, which made the entire experience unpleasant. System errors can happen, but blaming the customer without checking is unacceptable.specially when the assumptions turned out to be incorrect

    I would like to emphasize that I found the store manager,Anna, to be unprofessional in handling the situation. Professional customer service should focus on understanding the situation and helping the customer, not making assumptions before verifying facts.And she should not have spoken to me in a way that felt more like addressing a subordinate rather than a customer.

    I also had a very unfriendly encounter at this store. After looking through the reviews, it is clear this store has a customer service problem. I decided to message the customer service department online and send them details of my experience as I have never left a 1 star review before and think it is better to give a company, the chance of an explanation. From the reply, I can honestly see this company doesn’t care about the customer.
    It appears from my experience, and other reviews, that you want to protect your products to the point that you don’t actually let any customers in and when you do, you quickly harass the customer back out with rude and unkind staff.
    Perhaps that is why your store was empty on this occasion.
    Maybe you should consider going back to your online presence, so that no one can get their sticky little hands on your goods. That way, you can protect your products and your staff would be happier in a non customer focused role.
    Win win.
    I would recommend you visit one of the many other welcoming beauty stores with great reviews in Manchester.

    Why have perfume at the back if security will just stand down your neck? Might aswell have it locked away. Poor reviews have been going on for months and nothing has changed… you can’t even say if the customer isn’t doing anything wrong why would they not want security following them, it’s just very unpleasant. Have staff members on each section if it’s such an issue as it’s a much friendlier approach. Genuinely an awful store, Sephora is downstairs spend your money there or in boots!!

    The staff are rude in this shop. Twice I went in to spend my hard earned money on some goodies. And the rude females at the door said “youre not allowed in with a drink” which i guess fair enough. But how can you not allow people in your shop with drinks but then proceed to tell them to go up a floor to find a bin? Surely it takes a small amount of logic to figure out that if youre gonna tell people theyre not allowed in with drinks you would have a bin provided??? And the attitude of the staff was really rude when they said that. Its also newly opened so you would think they would want to attract customers?? And today another rude member of staff took a whole 30 second out of her time while she was serving another customer, to tell me to stand on the other side where the queue is meant to be. And then when the customers she was done serving walked into me she didnt say anything to them?? Three bad experiences with rude staff dont go here save your money.
