I had a very unpleasant experience at this massage place last night. I booked an 8:00 pm appointment on 13 October with Patty (one of the two masseuses shown in the online booking system) and received a confirmation email.

When I arrived about 10 minutes early, I phoned from outside the shop to check if I could come in. The staff member who answered seemed clueless and suddenly hung up on me. When I went inside, there were three staff members at the reception desk. One of them asked me rudely what I needed. I explained that I had an appointment with Patty. She looked confused, went inside to check, and came back saying Patty wasn’t in — without explaining what went wrong.

She seemed impatient and was frowning from the moment I walked in. Then, in a very unwilling tone, she said, “It’s fine, I can do it for you. You can pay now.” The way she said it made it sound as though she was doing me a favour. I told her she seemed unhappy, and another masseuse quickly tried to smooth things over by saying, “She always talks like that,” as if I should just accept her colleague’s rude behaviour.

I replied, “With that attitude, why would I want a massage now?” The rude masseuse said nothing, didn’t apologise, and still looked annoyed. I left the place in disbelief and anger.

Later, I checked their Google reviews and noticed several others had also complained about rude staff. The owner’s replies sounded serious, but clearly, the service hasn’t improved. Customers shouldn’t be treated like that. If an employee “always talks like that”, then she shouldn’t be working there.

I’ve had massages many times in England and was never treated so disrespectfully. This was by far the worst experience ever.

Went a month ago or so. Was very pleasant, also trans friendly which is always nice to know. Can’t remember the specific staff member’s name now unfortunately, sorry. Recommend the place though.
