Really nice, clean place and I had a friendly guy so feel a bit harsh putting this out there but lowkey came out looking chopped and didn’t know until I was home and had a proper look. The back of my head was not blended at all. He’d trimmed the very bottom part well and squared it off nicely round my neck, but above that was pretty much a sharp line where the hair higher up actually hung over that bit. It jumped from like 1cm to 2.5cm w no graduality. And it was uneven, with pretty long bits sticking out from random places where they definitely didn’t match the length of the areas they were in. And where he’d tried to blend the back of my head, it was wonky?? It sloped. My hair got shorter higher up on one half of the back of my head than the other half. And it was very visible. Just didn’t look like what I asked for when I’d even shown him pictures.

The top and sides were done good, but bro ruined it a bit at the end by not using the thinning shears correctly. I did ask him to thin out more cause I have really thick hair, but you’re meant to use them from mid length to ends for a reason. I always ask for more thinning at other places and never had this issue, so ik it’s not me. He just used them too close to the top of my head. So now if I do a middle part, I have a bunch of 1 inch ish long flyaways that are tough to stick down and pretty noticeable if I don’t, since my hair’s 4-5 inches long on top. Luckily I CAN stick them down w product cause that’s not even fixable, I just have to wait for it to grow back fr

I’m not trying to be rude, but I genuinely had 5 different people tell me the back of my head was chopped. FIVE. :/ My 15 year old sister with no prior experience had to try and fix the back for me and somehow did a better job. The place looked and felt nice, maybe the dude was rushing or having an off day idk. Was not great for me though. Maybe just be more careful next time? Or if you’re unsure what the guy in your chair is asking for, ask for clarification?? Cause I swear, no one wants or asks for what I got 😭 I’d add a pic of the back if I hadn’t had my sister fix it when I got home immediately lol, but added one showing a BIT of the thinning shears / flyaways issue.

Wasn’t the absolute worst job ever, just kinda grim for the price. I came to town instead of some random local rusholme £10 barber for a reason, and I basically got what I’d get at any of those if not worse honestly. You shouldn’t charge higher prices if you can’t provide a higher quality :/
