I have been coming to Amy to get my nails done for ages now. I get BIAB but am indecisive with my designs, Amy is always patient and helps me decide what will look nice. The salon is really clean and relaxing inside and all of the other girls who work there are so friendly. One time my nails didn’t dry properly so it chipped a bit the next day so I messaged on Instagram and they said they’d fix it asap for free whenever I could next come to the salon. I wouldn’t go anywhere else now to get my hands & feet done xx
Came in today for a removal and full set of acrylics. These nails are gorgeous. I love the the shape and colour, and the girl who did them was lovely! Unfortunately I forgot to get her name. Will definitely be booking an infill when these are grown out.

nice interior and selection of colours, but horrible service. I booked in but had to wait 20m regardless, and nail tech seemed to have no idea what i’d booked in for.
natural nails were filed with an electric file way too much, leading to burning when put in the lamp. the pain was literally so bad it made me flinch, plus no cuticle prep! also didn’t cut my natural nails, making it seem like i’ve had the acrylics for way longer than i have!
nail tech ignored the length i wanted for my nails and cut way shorter. i asked for stilettos and they were done extremely unevenly; i honestly think i could’ve done better myself. the extensions themselves are very bumpy and not professional at all. they also seem to lift off from the nails and there is a gap between my natural nails and the extensions, meaning dust and dirt has been collecting between the gap.
really unprofessional result, there is certainly better in the area.

BACKSTORY: I had a wonderful gel acrylic set of black cateye done here for Halloween before I left to travel (£55). I was happy with it and made sure I told the salon I wanted them to last. I understand the quality and care required for acrylics of this length as I have been getting them done all over the world for 10+ years.
Unfortunately, I chipped the thumb on my left hand right before Halloween while abroad after only 3 days (the salon policy is that u must come in within 2-3 days if u have any issues). I chalked it up to me being rough with it during travel maybe and didn’t think anything of it. Then, 2 days later another nail chips on my left hand, then another the next day! It became obvious based on the cracking that my left hand that it was not baked in the UV light properly because the paint was coming off in layers. Only 8 days after my appointment all but one of my nails were chipped or broken on my left hand while my right remained perfect (I am right handed too).
Once coming back to Manchester, I immediately called the salon and let them know that there must be something wrong with their UV light and the story above, hoping for some sort of customer service or help replacing the improperly cured hand (note: not my right hand, I was NOT looking for a free set). You can see in the text provided in the photos from the manager. I then went in to get my left hand replaced and was told by the artist I waited too long (20 days due to my travel) and that I would need to pay for every nail individually to be repaired PLUS £10 for the cateye. She also admitted that it was due to an improper curing process when I pointed out the layered chips. This made me so frustrated I asked to just removed everything for the £10 because I was so annoyed because of the services (mind you I haven’t gone without acrylics for 10+ year) and when she told me £15 I knew to walk out.
Please save ur time and money and do not go to this salon. They look good the first day, but EIGHT days later they will be in ruins.
UPDATE: I responded to the salons comment where they requested I message them on instagram and got ghosted. Whoever put that comment stating that they would like to provide normal customer service lied as a flimsy attempt to discredit my honest review. very disappointing…
Amazing! The best nail place in the area, such good pricing and the staff are all so lovely and welcoming. Amy always does my nails beautifully ❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰
