Worst customer service & work quality.
Took me 3 times to book an appointment as the first time it appeared it wasn’t actually booked when I left my details. Paid the full amount and was booked for the wrong time, not the one initially agreed upon. Tried to call multiple times & messaged but received no reply. When I came to the appointment, it appeared they booked me in for a manicure instead of a pedicure.
During the treatment, I got cut by the nail technician. She tried to hide and cover it with her hand.. had no common sense that the wound has to be sanitised and said “It can happen” didn’t take into account that this is serious and it can get infected, as it was bleeding!
Have no comments on the way the nail technician applied gel nail polish.. this can be seen in the photos attached as it’s all hilly. Prices and salon representation do not correspond to the service & treatment quality provided. Very disappointed and cannot believe I paid for this terrible work.
Absolutely love my nails. The whole experience makes you feel amazing got a glass of fizz while having my treatment the girls in the salon are also really nice. Sam who done my nails made sure my experience was the best and it was! My nails are the best ones I’ve had done and they last. I would highly recommend getting your nails done at create & coat. Glass of fizz, a pamper and friendly amazing staff what more could you want from a service 🍾💅
All I can say is Wow! I had the VIP manicure, my nails have never looked so celebrity-like! The girls were excellent and lovely to talk to. Highly recommended and a fabulous addition to the Harvey Nichols in Manchester
I was super excited when I booked my nail appointment for this new salon in Harvey Nichols. It was supposed to be a Christmas treat for myself before Christmas.
I booked AND put a deposit down for a BIAB treatment and Nail Art level 3 with the VIP Spa gel mani. This is not the treatment I received.
With the VIP treatment you’re supposed to have a spa soak, hydrating massage, hand mask and expert cuticle work plus a mini glass of bubbly for the ultimate VIP experience. This is not the treatment I received.
When I arrived the nail artist said “you booked the VIP package, it’s comes with X Y and Z, are you sure that’s what you want’ in a way that made me feel like I shouldn’t get the service I booked. I was offered a room temperature water, not champagne as they had none.
The technicians spent the majority of the time complaining about their work schedules over the Christmas period which I understand as I used to work in retail but I was there for about two hours and I don’t think at any point I was properly treated as a customer.
She got to work on my cuticles and was going at them so hard that she cut my index finger and then claimed she didn’t notice AFTER she put acetone on it which hurt A LOT.
Then came the nail art, I asked for neon green flames with a chrome outline and she straight away offered French tips instead which I thought was strange but turned out it was because she couldn’t fulfil my nail art request. Another technician had to step in to do my nails, and it still wasn’t quite right but I just wanted the appointment over with at this point.
Fortunately I didn’t have to pay the full £135 as it was not the treatment I received but that is the treatment I wanted, and I didn’t get.
If you want a nice manicure with incredible nail artists, I suggest booking with Nails By Ya Gal, I would have gone there instead of they weren’t fully booked.

I went to create and coat before my hen party. They really looked after me from the moment I walked in and got me even more excited for it.
Bec was fantastic throughout. She listened to what I wanted as I explained my ideas and showed her some pictures of what I was thinking. She found colours that I described and helped me pick what would go well together. She made sure she was sure what I wanted before she started so she knew I would be happy when she finished. She then checked I was happy when finished. I was over the moon with the result.
The manager kept checking in that I was having a good time and kept complimenting my nails. The appointment was fantastic and I would highly recommend if you want to be pampered.
