It was my first time trying a different hairstyle after years of sticking to the same look, and honestly, I was quite nervous at first. But Samantha made me feel completely relaxed and comfortable throughout the whole process. She really listened, took her time, and gave me a style that feels fresh and suits me so well. My daughter (17) had a grown out blonde Balayage and wanted to tone down the lighter blonde ends to blend in with her darker blonde roots. When I picked her up she was in floods of tears because three quarters of her hair was a dark ashy brown, her roots still dark blonde. It took me half an hour to convince her to go back with me because I’ve always been told that if there a problem go back, they wouldn’t want you to leave unhappy with your hair. So we did, the stylist seemed really combative and just kept repeating that it’s impossible to match colours exactly and that we just needed to wash it a few times to fade it but she didn’t want brown hair and definitely not two tone dark brown hair. We spoke to who I think was the manager and she said they’d try some clarifying washes on it. (We now think this was a bleach bath as my daughter said it had a really strong chemical smell) after that it did fade some but ended up reddy brown and really uneven. We left ,we felt really uncomfortable and being told it looked good when it clearly didn’t was frustrating. She saw three hair dressers the day after , all couldn’t understand why hair hair was dyed so dark and now thankfully it’s been fixed. We emailed explaining why we were unhappy and requesting a refund and nobody even bothered to respond. I never had an experience like this before , most of the family have used this salon over the years and we were really shocked by the way we were treated. I’ve included her blonder before pics and what she ended up with.
I had an amazing experience at this hair salon! The team was friendly, professional, and really listened to what I wanted. My stylist worked absolute magic — the cut and colour exceeded my expectations and I left feeling confident and refreshed. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and take pride in their work. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality service in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere!
We first saw Sam last year for a colour correction where we began a journey to get my daughter to a teddy blonde/bronde. Sam guided us through the journey ensuring the health of the hair wasn’t compromised. My daughter is now a perfect teddy blonde/ bronde but more importantly her hair is healthy. Sam is a lovely person as well as very talented. 10/10
I wouldn’t even give it a one star. Very poor customer service. I was not asked my name when I phoned or for my number. I travelled a long way for an appointment which never happened. I would NOT recommend this salon.
