I booked specifically because the website stated that they do curly hair cuts. My dry hair was brushed from the roots and brushed again after diffusing – this caused a lot of frizz and left my curls undefined. The cut also wasn’t sectioned layer by layer, even though I requested an all‑over trim, so not all of the split ends were removed. The techniques used were not fully appropriate for curly hair. I understand that not all stylists specialise in curly hair, so it might be helpful if this were made clearer on the website or if clients could be guided toward the stylists who do have that experience.

My stylist, Ella, took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and kept checking in with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy with the cut. She was also magic with the hairdryer, creating natural-looking waves, just like I asked for. Best hairdressing experience I’ve had for years, at a ridiculously good price. Will definitely be back!
