Never done this before as a man, but Charlie guided me and 15 mins later we were done.

This was one of the most distressing and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had. I booked a massage through Groupon and was misled about the setting and service. The location was not a salon but a warehouse, with no signage or professional setup — just a small, dirty room with stained towels, no ventilation, and no hygiene standards. As someone with a chronic illness and mobility issues, I was shocked to find I had to climb two flights of stairs, despite notifying the therapist in advance.

There was no health consultation and the therapist became aggressive and patronising when I explained I couldn’t lie on my front due to health reasons. When I politely asked to leave, she slammed the door and laughed at me. I was left shaken and deeply uncomfortable — not remotely the environment where anyone, let alone a vulnerable customer, should feel pressured to undress and accept treatment.

To make matters worse, she had already redeemed the Groupon voucher code before I arrived — marking the treatment as “used” even though I never received it. I never got my massage, and I was refused a refund.

Avoid this business at all costs — it is not safe, professional, or accommodating. I’ve reported the situation and hope no one else is made to feel as unsafe and unheard as I did.
