My younger sister attended this salon for the first time last weekend. Her appointment was at 10:30am on Saturday for a blow dry as she was going out that afternoon. She arrived on time and was told to take a seat. Time went by, my sister was not acknowledged, offered a refreshment, or even told the hairdresser was running behind. After an hour my sister asked how much longer she would have to wait and was told soon enough with no apology or explanation. My sister also had a train to catch that afternoon. Eventually, a woman came to her at 12.15 and began to brush her hair? With no acknowledgement of the delay, no apology, absolutely nothing. The lady then put rollers in her hair and took them out 5/10 minutes later, the curls completely dropped out. She was then charger ÂŁ50! Again no apology for the delay, no acknowledgement. My sister who is younger and too shy to raise a complaint paid the ÂŁ50 and left. Absolutely disgusting treatment. Terrible first impression.

Bella did such an amazing job on my hair! I wanted a blonde balayage with soft layers and face-framing pieces, and she absolutely nailed it. During our consultation, she understood exactly what I had in mind and took time to make sure we had the same vision. The colour is gorgeous, the cut falls perfectly and it’s exactly what I had in mind. She’s so lovely and really took her time — I’ve had loads of compliments already!

Nothing but good words to say about Ash hair salon. I walked in with damaged blonde hair with my wedding booked six months away and they put a plan in place so I got to have my dream wedding hair ❤️ within one appointment my blonde was cleaned up and then a couple of maintenance appointments to keep it fresh and bright was all it needed.
A forever client now!

I booked a consultation for a colour, cut, and extensions for my sister’s wedding. During the consultation, I was quoted £140 for the extensions, which I agreed to. However, the next day I received a message saying the actual cost would be £460. I decided to cancel the extensions and go ahead with just the cut and colour instead.
My appointment was booked for 10 a.m. on Monday — the only time available — so I took the day off work to attend. When I arrived, the lady at the front said, “I’ll just find out where your stylist is and when he’ll get here.” After waiting for about ten minutes, she came back to tell me that he was unwell and wouldn’t be able to do my hair.
I completely understand that people get sick — that can’t be helped — but I was really disappointed to only be told this after I had arrived. I had taken the day off work, and with my sister’s wedding just two days away, it was a stressful situation to be left in. All I was told was “sorry,” with no offer of any help or compensation.
I was really disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism, especially given the circumstances.

10/10 service every time, The Ash is my go to hairdressers, I’ve been going for years! My hair looks and feels amazing every time I go! Rachel and Matty are my go two stylists, but all the stylists are amazing. I would highly recommend!
