Artizan Hair

It’s a bit unusual for a bloke to be reviewing a hair salon — at least it is for me, as I’ve spent my whole life going to barbers. But there’s a method to my madness.
I’m growing my hair out, and after a few barber appointments I realised I needed somewhere that really understands longer hair. After a quick browse on Booksy, I chose Artizan.
Alex was lovely from the start, taking my initial booking with Tim, and the text reminder beforehand was a really nice touch.
On the day, I was greeted with big smiles by Alex again, which instantly made the place feel welcoming. I then had a great consultation with Tim, who explained exactly what my hair was doing at this awkward in-between stage — long in some places, short in others.
Tim shaped it up brilliantly, giving it a much more flattering look while still keeping the length I’ve worked on. It’s gone from looking like a bit of a helmet to something far better, without losing the majority of my growing hair!
I’m booked back in for three months’ time, and my first impressions are nothing but positive: genuinely cool, friendly, professional, clean, and a great vibe overall.
Tim’s knowledge and explanations were 10/10, the price was very reasonable, and the parking outside is a bonus in Southport (especially with the parking attendants everywhere).
Thanks to both Tim and Alex for making my first salon experience such a good one — I’m looking forward to coming back in a few months.

I’ve been coming to Artizan for a while now. Erik is a fabulous stylist and very patient with Little Miss Can’t Make her Mind Up here! The whole team are friendly and welcoming including Alex who’s always ready with a hot cuppa. The fact that they have their own ample car park is a Billy bonus!

First time having Eric cut & colour my very long hair this week & he did so perfectly ! Made me feel very comfortable & relaxed & listened to what I wanted . Will defo book in with Eric again as I’m super happy with the result .
