I live abroad but visit Manchester my home town often. I applied for a haircut in the training academy as I couldn’t see my regular stylist back home. However, I was so impressed with the outcome I am going to try and synchronise a cut and colour in the future on my next visit.
I felt so well looked after and although it’s hard walking into a new salon for the first time I was so welcomed and looked after I was completely at ease.
My cut is great and the big question is can I style it myself? The answer is yes so easily which of course is the sign of a great cut.

The loveliest experience at Vox. Super easy to book online, felt really welcome when I came in and Vicky gave me the most gorgeous cut with a fringe and layers. I felt so good walking out and she spent the time looking at my hair and how it sat to give me the best cut. Also it didn’t feel like a typical chaotic salon as it’s split across 3 floors, so it was a relaxing experience. Will definitely be back!
I’ve tried a few salons in Manchester but never felt settled or happy, and so let my hair go long stretches between cuts. I’m so pleased I tried Vox – Phoenix was lovely, really friendly and did an amazing job on my hair, especially as we were changing things up a bit. I felt reassured and was given good advice on what to do based on what I was looking for. The salon is such a warm and relaxing environment too. I’ve already booked my next appointment 🙂

I absolutely love this hairdressers! Would recommend to anyone. The decor is stunning and all staff so friendly and accomodating.
