This was the first time my sister and I visited Toni & Guy Wigan, and from start to finish the experience was amazing. Darren and Kate were absolutely fantastic and made us feel welcome and comfortable straight away.
We were both feeling quite nervous, as we hadn’t had our long hair cut in a very long time and were worried about having too much taken off. We explained that we wanted a change but nothing drastic, and they both took the time to really listen to our concerns. They carefully talked us through what would suit our hair type, length, and face shape, and explained each step of the process in a reassuring and professional way.
Nothing felt rushed at all. They checked in with us throughout, made sure we were happy before moving on, and genuinely cared about getting it right. Their knowledge and confidence instantly put us at ease, and it was clear they take a lot of pride in their work.
I am absolutely in love with my new hair. The added layers have given it so much volume, movement, and bounce while still keeping the length, which is exactly what I wanted. My sister was just as happy with her result too.
I will definitely be returning and becoming a regular client here. It’s so rare to find hairdressers who are not only incredibly talented, but also kind, patient, and understanding. I can’t recommend Darren and Kate highly enough.
The atmosphere at Toni and Guy Wigan is always friendly, welcoming and relaxed. The salon is clean, comfortable and well-organised. The stylists are highly-skilled, professional and inspire confidence. As a long-term client, I would definitely recommend them.
I have very curly and textured hair. I am so glad I have eventually found someone who is this great with my hair. Had my haircut from Ella twice and she definitely knows how to deal with curls. She would listen to you and suggest best for you. It is a relief that I can now have a nice fringe without worrying about uneven smaller odd curls.
I am specifically leaving this comment for other Curlies around who are struggling to find a good stylist, Ella is your person.
My hair was to my waist
I had a picture my hair to be cut should of been cut to 12 inches below my neck
Should of been all one length
Couldn’t see back of hair in picture so instead of giving me what I asked for it was completely layed everywhere and it’s just below my chin
I’m guessing I was what every hairdresser wants to do cut someone’s hair long to short
Never again if I could give zero stars I would
Yes you rang apart from a pixi haircut there is nothing else you could of done when you phoned to say you would resolve this
And as for improving on your service really if you couldn’t do the style I asked for he should of said
Katie was absolutely fantastic with my autistic daughter. Patient, kind and very efficient. We’ve finally found a hairdresser that she is comfortable with. And we can’t stop looking at her amazing hair! Thanks
