Can only be described as a hack job
Daughter went in yesterday for her hair done for her 18th birthday
Woke up this morning unable to get a comb through it so she went back. Owner hacked some more off it absolute mess avoid like the plague
Went to get a half head highlights and a trim a couple of weeks ago. It took ages and I wound up with a full head of highlights as hairdresser thought this would be best, bit too blonde for me now honestly.
Checked my bank statement when I got back from holiday, only to find Teddies had taken a £40 deposit on my card over the phone without my approval.
I paid £95 at the end of the appointment.
On phoning them, thinking that they had not deducted the deposit when I settled the bill they said that they charge £135 for a full head highlights and a simple one length trim.
I stated that their pricing policy was not transparent, I was not quoted prices before work started, and there are no hair services pricelists clearly displayed.
I didn’t think that checking the price was necessary, as I have never paid more than £85 for this service since COVID.
The manager said she would discuss this with her partner, and get back to me.
This was last week, and now they are not replying to my phone calls. Not impressed at all.
Very pleasant experience! I called on the off chance, they would be able to fit me in. I was pleased by the decor, cleanliness, and style of the place. Very friendly, and, the best haircut I’ve had for a while. Not the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive outside Bury town centre. Parking isn’t a big issue with the various side streets, and also the Wellington pub almost directly opposite. You’d be well advised to book an appointment, but I only had a 10 minute wait. I had good conversation whilst I was having my trim, not meaningless blather! 😎 Heartily recommend Teddies!
Carol did my Gel nails and Toes. Absolutely Fantastic. Took her time and made my hands and feet back to Normal. Very friendly and Professional. I went to Carol’s House to get my Nails done. Hopefully get them done again in 3-4 weeks time.
My Husband was very Happy with my Nails, especially the colour.
I highly Recommend Carol, anyone wanting to get Their Nails done along with any Beauty treatments then contact Carol. You will be Looked after and be Happy with the Treatments you have. Having been to other Salons and different people, Carol is the best. Also not expensive. My go to Lady xx

My eldest daughter is a regular for her elaborate hair colours and we have always had a very friendly and personable service from all at the salon. The results as always have been fantastic and pricing is I think reasonable for the quality of service received
