First time at this salon, they were looking for people with a variety of styles for the students to practice on before their official qualifications.
Eva was lovely, really listened to what I wanted to try differently! She was confident but not afraid to ask for guidance.

I loved my first hair cut so I booked myself in for a wet cute as I usually wet and style my hair again after a blow dry due to my curly hair. I was told to come back as the hair I wanted was considered a restyle which I did despite wanting to get my hair done for Christmas. I came back on the 29th and I was sat waiting for half an hour I was asked if I wanted a drink twice and only got it at the end of my hair cut which hair fell into. The stylist didn’t apologies for being late and proceeded to give me a hair cut I didn’t like after asking for shorter layers and a front fringe.
I left feeling fed up and hating my hair after spending £52. I wouldn’t come here again or recommend the salon again.
Really disappointed with the experience today. My daughter is 14 and I wanted to treat her to a relaxing and special day. I rang on the day and booked in for 3.45pm i specifically said i wanted her to have a very very light trim, a mask , blowout and then asked if you had redken products to purchase after. I even explained my daughter had a tough time recently and i wanted her to have a treat.
Came in , sat down and then hairdresser approached and said she was booked in for a dry trim????. I said no that was not the case and she went of to check. Came back and said she was booked in for a dry trim but it was a 45 min appointment , so she could do what we asked for?. Then said you do know it will be full price, i wasnt bothered it was what i expected . Explained she only wanted a little bit taking off. She explained it would need at least 2 inches off to help it grow and get rid of split ends, i fully appreciate the reason , but she didnt want it and i explained that to her , which came with annoyance and very dismissive response.i left her and came back 30 mins later, and i could tell my daughter was upset. I paid and left. I decided to buy the products elsewhere. Very upset that what was supposed to be a treat and girly day ended up being the very opposite.
I get my hair done at Jo and Cass by Lois and nails by Magi who works with Yana.
My hair has never looked better since Lois has been doing it, I completely changed hair colour and she totally knew what she was doing with that- she took the photo below on the day I went from blonde to copper. I totally trust her advice! Completely recommend her, apart from being an amazing stylist she is such a joyful person so appointments with are brilliant.
Love getting my nails done by Magi, always such a relaxed atmosphere in Yana’s part of Jo and Cass and love how she does my nails.
Elise washed my hair and she made it such a lovely and relaxing experience, i really recommend. Then Charlotte gave me a stunning cut and blow dry she’s so lovely and makes it such a nice time. I fully reccomend. Thank you xxx
