I totally love this store. It literally has everything I need for my hair. If you don’t see what your looking for ask any of the helpful, friendly staff, they’re happy to help. Alish was a blessing. She worked so hard to find the exact item I described. She gave me advice and recommendations that will make me look good, save me money making my life easier 💜
For all your hair supplies, Julia store is the place to go to in town. Easily accessible, staff friendly and will help you get stuff around the shop.
This shop discriminates against the disabled. They refused to allow me to shop with my assistance dog, saying that I would have to carry him! 😳🤔. He is wearing a service dog harness, with an assistance dog lead. Very clearly marked. I tried to explain that it IS discrimination to do this but was just faced with rudeness. I am disabled, how am I supposed to carry a dog around? Ignorance is no excuse. Not liking dogs is no excuse. This is discrimination. Please take your assistance dogs to this shop, or boycott it all together until an apology and policy change is made public.

I don’t usually get around to writing reviews but I had such a lovely experience at Julia’s, I thought I’d make an effort.
I’ve been in this store a few times over the years and I don’t recall the staff being as friendly and helpful as they were these past two occasions I’ve been in. I don’t know what has changed, but I like it!
This year (2020) has been a tough year for some people, so a friendly face and a nice happy energy can’t be underestimated.. That is what I received when I was in store both when I bought something and when I spent ages just looking at the merchandise.
Even though I was in the store for ages that first time, I didn’t feel rushed or under surveillance, I felt relaxed. At the same time, I appreciated the staff member who asked if I needed any help.
I was also very happy with the speed at which I received a reply when I sent an enquiry through their Instagram page. To be honest I didn’t have high expectations of that because there weren’t many posts so I wasn’t sure if I would get a response but I did and with the same friendly manner as I got in store. Their “click and collect” system was very straight forward and when I arrived back at the store to collect and pay for my items, there was no messing about, it was all ready for me to pay for by cash or card.
It is also great to know that, it isn’t just one member of staff that is friendly and the others are miserable, they all seemed very upbeat.
I will definitely be shopping there again.
