Not really sure where to start because from the second I walked through the door, I had a great experience as I was greeted with a friendly smile. Katie is so intuitive, friendly and talented.

My hair looks incredible – she really took the time to listen to what I wanted, has managed to fix a shocking cut from a previous salon (which despite me moaning about my previous experience elsewhere because the cut was so bad for my hair type, Katie didn’t enter into any gossip about that which I thought was really professional! She focussed on fixing my hair and making it look amazing!) and she has given my hair a new lease of life. Has boosted my confidence because I feel so good with this colour! It’s rare to find a hairdresser that truly understands reds and coppers, and Katie does.

The consultation, the atmosphere, the comfy seats all really add to Katie’s skills. I almost fell asleep when she was washing my hair, and I just need to give a mention to the chairs at the backwash – none of those horrible sinks that dig into the back of your neck! You lie completely back and feel so comfortable, and the head massage whilst being washed was sooooo relaxing, and she asked if the temperature was ok for me (not all salons do this!), didn’t get water all over me (again, this has happened elsewhere before!) and despite the vibrant red colour I’d gone for – I left with not a spot on me. Her application of colour was so precise. She’s amazing at what she does and I’m so bloody happy!

The waves she styled are still going strong, and I love that she instinctively knew I don’t like lots of product in my hair, after I told her I don’t spend much time styling – she used a lightweight serum to add extra shine and I was so happy because I hate my hair full of product but do love a good serum! Honestly, she’s so intuitive and if you haven’t had your hair done by her yet then you really should.

I’ll definitely be back… well, I already booked my next appointment!

I decided to get my hair done at Dry after someone had previously recommended the salon to me, and I will definitely be returning back! I had my hair dyed with Lois who was so friendly and she really listened to how I wanted my hair done and she did a great job 😊

I now live in Yorkshire, but will continue to travel the 2 hours to Dry every couple of months for Olivia to look after my hair, because no-one else has ever looked after my hair so well, gotten it exactly as I want it, or given such a great experience consistently every time I’ve been there for the last three years. She looked after my colour needs all the way up to my wedding and all of the team are a friendly family who make each visit a pleasure. Today was no exception, and I look forward to my next visit!
